Richard Sehir dedi ki...: So Izmir is Utopia. I have to tell that the one year I spent there was nothing like Utopia for me and Deniz. The concept of it was great. Get away from the big city and the traffic etc. But the reality was very different. I think that there is a reason we don't all live there. The fantasy of a place and what it represents are much more powerful than the reality. But that is very cynical, maybe for me Izmir was not paradise for many other reasons that for you would be different. Well done for trying to put this into one sentence. It is an important exercise to try and distill or boil down our words into something very clear and for that you succeeded very well.; 13 Nisan 2011 03:43
